Huntsville it is! I was hoping someone would pick up on the rocket. I'm sitting fewer than ten miles from that rocket right now, and I got married about 100 feet from where that picture was taken.

That's not a rocket, that's a Saturn V.

I was born too late to hear one of these take off, but I've been told it was incredible. When I teach Newton's Third Law in Astronomy 101, I show this video of the Apollo 11 launch:



but I replace the chatty (but technically interesting) voice over with this, with the volume on the AV system turned up as far as it will go:



It's good way to get the students to care about conservation of momentum and third-law pair forces.

That and I drive into class on a fire-extinguisher powered go-kart.
