You are likely correct, but there are a BUNCH of smaller cities/towns right there along the Rhine. :) I have to try. :)

That was a WAG, so I'm probably not. Might be a tributary like the Mosel. I can almost guarantee that a long skinny boat full of old retirees pulls into that port there, probably several times a week :)

Tournon-sur-Rhone?

Google searched medieval castle, rhone, terraced and the bell tower looks very similar

Close enough! Tournon-sur-Rhone is where the photo was taken but I was actually looking for the town on the other side of the river; Tain L'Hermitage. It has many varieties of grapes for quality wines and a famous school for chocolatiers. Apparently well known chefs attend to learn about chocolate.

You're up.

Doing a little work in this city in a few months.

I really hate to complain, but people keep putting up these pictures with NO resolution and no identifying features. :(

sheesh.. That's literally the whole city. It's a capital city of a country. Here's more resolution for you. Not Macau, still wrong continent.

Haha, says the guy who posted the night shot of nothing.

Don't worry, when I post mine it will be guessed in less than 10 minutes. Every single time. No more Eiffel tower soft-toss for you guys though.
