Yes, looking north from Empire Bluff Trail at sunset, before running to the car to avoid the bears and whatnot.

I should have found a way to block you from being able to guess at that one based on your location ;) You're up!

My wife and I have visited SBDNL many times and believe it's one of America's most beautiful places. I'll post one soon.

Bears?! or do you mean cougars on vacation? :off:

LOL! Seriously though, a few years back the park service posted warnings for a cougar which had been spotted near the Platte River Campground. The DNR still denies any cougars in the lower peninsula despite photographic proof. They contend that the photos are of escaped or released pets.

The DNR really upsets me on this one, because you are correct - they do deny it.

I was in the woods one night in the Lower Peninsula (southwest corner of the state) and was stalked by a cougar. The noises it made when it got close were bone chilling and that whole experience scared the absolute crap out of me.

A couple years later I'm driving down the highway in the middle of no where and one was watching me from the side of the highway. They are out there. Don't know why the DNR refuses to acknowledge it.

And all you skyline guessers thought you were only going to look at skylines today! Bet you didn't think you'd be learning about the faults of the MI DNR...

Yea, we all know that they are around here. Have been spotted many times on trail cams and in fact one was hit by a car near Alpena I believe in 2014. The issue with admitting they exist, is that then the DNR must allocate funds to the species.

Here ya are

How the heck, man! If I didn't know you were such a cool dood I'd call shenanigans!

I was influenced by The Grand Tour. You're up.

Haha. Earlier today when you posted I did a few google searches on the two distinctive buildings there (building on legs, terraced bldg); that went nowhere.

Given your latest clues, I got a brief list of countries with deserts, then in another window found their capitals, then in a third window did image search for that capital's skyline. There were only a few countries to go through, and I have 3 monitors, so each browser page was on a different monitor. Wouldn't have taken too long, but believe me the Kalahari and Namibia was almost my last chance. The "terraced bldg" popped right up for Windhoek.
