Not Baton Rouge. Wrong direction from New Orleans. This is a smaller community that took the brunt of the storm with 10 to 12 feet of moving storm surge water. It had close to 100% damage and is still a shadow of what it was before Katrina.
I had to look up which ship was there, but I remember it from a trip to Mobile quite a few years ago. Great park with some airplanes in a hangar nearby. We used to do Gulf Shores once every 2 or 3 years late summer just before school started.
I should also rephrase an earlier answer, regarding the North Atlantic... This is part of a country that does have a coast on the North Atlantic (but this may or not necessarily be part of that coast).
They're so far off. That's the Calanque d'En Vau on the Mediterranean in France. The kayaks are one of the only ways to access it, the other being a bit of a hike.
