My second year fresh hops garden - How much do I need?

This is my second at growing fresh hops and I been collecting and drying them. But I noticed that after a week drying they tend to fan out and expand as they dry. So now I am wondering how the heck do I know how much I need to add to lets say an average 5 gal batch in an average beer style using fresh dried Hops?

From what I gather weigh em. But it's hard to tell the aa although they're threads on that here I thinks discuss this but seems most people dry hop or put them in late additions in the boil like a hopstand so even if you don't know the aa amount you get the flavor and aroma. Food for thought.

Looks like I will need almost all my small harvest of hops; I seen a video and the guy used a few single hand full of fresh hop cones. I will make sure I harvest all my hops just in case.
