I have 2 beers to be brewed in a couple weeks when I get some money to buy supplies. I was thinking of doing a Surly-esque type IPA, for me, and a Raspberry Wheat, for the lady. I would like to know what you guys think.
IPA
11 lbs. Golden Promise
1 lb. Munich Malt
4 oz. Crystall 50-60L
0.5 oz. Columbus (FWH)
0.5 oz. Columbus (60 min)
0.5 oz. each Columbus and Amarillo (10 min)
0.5 oz each Amarillo and Simcoe (5 min)
0.5 oz. each Simcoe and Columbus (0 min)
1 oz. each Simcoe and Amarillo (7 day Dry Hop)
0.5 oz. Columbus (7 day Dry Hop)
S-04 yeast
Raspberry Wheat
4 lbs. 2-row
4 lbs. White Wheat
1 lb. Honey Malt
0.5 oz Columbus (FWH)
1 oz. Golding (15 min)
1 lb. Raspberries in Secondary (10 days)
S-05 yeast
What do you guys think about these two recipes. Any advice is welcomed.
Thanks
