Just tried my 1 week bottled brown ale, I know I should leave it conditioning for at least another week, but I have a question. It tastes very yeasty, is that taste going to go away with time?

Thanks

That will fade some with time, though this does depend on the strain of yeast (and sometimes) with the fermentation temp.

Bottom line - your beer is green. You don't really know what it is going to taste like when it is ready. Give it time.

I've only made about 10 batches of beer so far in my homebrew career but I can tell you that I would NEVER make a taste decision on a beer until it has been in bottles for 4 solid weeks at 65-72F and then put in the fridge for at least 48 hours before drinking it. The only beer I've made that tasted better at 3 weeks than at 5 weeks was my dry hopped pale ale and that was because the citrus hop aroma started fading away.

Give em time!

I used safale S-04, and it fermented at 65-70*.
