Hey guys, my cousin just brought me back some fat tire ale from his ski trip. I have had it before, but this stands as my favorite beer ever. I live in Florida unfortunately and it's not available. So I decided to brew AHS version which is 10 days in primary now. I hope this turns out similar I really enjoy this beer.

Btw, if anybody wants to send me a few cases, I have a paypal account 

I make a Fat Tyre clone... I call it Fat and Tyred. I can post the recipe, if you wish. Shipping beer across state lines is a dicey and expensive method.

That would be great!! I love trying new recipes. PM or post the extract recipe when you get time. How close to the real deal
Is yours? Thanks again!

American Ale II (Wyeast Labs #1272) [Starter 1000 ml]

Mash grains in single step. 153-154 F (62-63C) for an hour. Mash out and boil at least an hour. You can substitute the last hop addition with Fuggles too, if you want.

If you want to use DME go with 5 lbs. light DME and 1.5 Amber DME and mash the rest as normal. Munich and biscuit are the star players in this mix. I also got a good taste using Belgian yeast WLP575.

Is this an extract? sorry i am asking as i am still new. Looking at it it seems as if it is an AG. If i were to add DME and LME, i dont take anything else out? or i do? pardon my newbieness

thanks again.....

also, are there any websites that you can upload your recipe, and the put together a kit for you?
