Nah I had to work, you can make it up to me by saving me a can

Hahaha! You got it! I never get cans, so I feel like I won something. Probably going to hit them up again before THanksgiving to get growler fills for the holiday (since I couldn't today...I can only wait in so many lines).

Lets work something out before then!

Had Celestial Fuzz at Battle of the Guilds at Toronado during SD beer week. So much stone fruit. Loved it

CAN RELEASE TODAY AT 4PM! TASTING ROOM ONLY! Foggy Window is a DIPA with Citra, Nelson, and Galaxy hops ABV 8.1% #FoggyWindow is $20/four pack limit 2-3 four packs person/per day. Sales tax and CRV included. About 155 cases available (1 case=6 four packs). We will be running the line like a normal weekday release and will be handing out wristbands today.

That's a decent price jump right? Doesn't impact my desire for it, but sheesh.
Yeah a bit, $2 increase. single ipas should still be under 20 though hopefully.
*edit, sucks I can't make the weekday releases anymore. This one sold out in under 2hrs

And yes, the price has increased. Due to the increase in cost of goods (especially hops) and labor, you will see a slight increase in our prices in 2017. We appreciate your continued support in the new year!

Actually a $3 increase from when it was first released, but yeah not too bad. HPB hazy dipa is $18 still though :D

Mumford and Smogcity doing beer sales today, Noble on Saturday. Cellador is opening their doors on Friday and has online sales for members, I'm sure sell through to public on Friday as well.

Yup! Think you nailed them all. And naturally its the ONE time of year that I'm on a spending freeze due to holidays & taxes. Murphy's Law, amirite?

I tossed out the prospect of a Monkish based tasting in the Bay Area thread and nobody even acknowledged it. So, I'll just drink all the Monkish myself.

I see your reviews on ratebeer and see you in Vermont every now and again. So up to you, but I've been looking for some Monkish. Feel free to pm me here or ratebeer when you come back to Vermont. I would give you a handsome reward to try some of their beers. Cheers.

$22 for the hazzzzzze today, that's a record?

Possibly for a hazy IPA, Noble dropped that Nelson triple IPA for $24 a while back. With this being limit 6 cans I'm sure it will sell out very quickly. Gonna pass on this release, hopefully it is on tap for a while.

The price per ounce is less than a Stone Enjoy by IPA bomber, happy the 22oz bottle days are fading. Breweries got away with a lot based on bottle size with west coast ipas.

Unfortunately was only in VT for about a week last fall (first time there); not sure when I'll be back.

Howdy. Visiting a fiend in Silver Lake this coming weekend (3/10-3/14). Not a beer centric trip, but haven't tried Monkish and thought it would be a fun stop. If they have a release, is it always a crazy long line? If so, maybe I'll just try their taps. Appreciate any tips and thank you kindly.

Chances are they won't have a release this week on account of their anniversary party this weekend. May very well just hold off on stuff till then.

Best advice, go on a weekday and just get whatever they have on tap and unless you are looking to trade it out or want rap lyrics on a piece of metal, the stuff they have on their growler fill list is pretty awesome.

Thank you. I'll probably just try their taps as you suggest. A growler full of something would be a bonus for me to enjoy at my friend's during my stay.
