Missed OG...Add LDME?

i brewed up stone ipa and got an og of 1.058 and should be 1.066. i won't be going back to the lhbs till next week. would it be ok to boil up some dme after a week of fermenting and add to the primary. how much should i add to bump it up for a 5.5 gal batch.

1 lb of dry malt extract in 5.5 gallons will increase the OG by .008.

It would be ok to add it. Just boil, cool, and when you add it gently rouse up the yeast and it should take right off.
