Hi everyone,
I normally bottle my beer but lately I've been thinking about buying a minikeg (4-5L) to keep in the fridge.
Based on the dimensions of the refrigerator, leaving the minikeg standing upright is not an option and from what I have seen, many minikegs say that they can be left on their side and can be used that way. My issue is that I've been searching and I can't find any comments about whether this really works, whether there are associated problems and what I can or can't do.
I was thinking about using a set something like this:
Minikeg
ball lock
faucet
CO2
I would really appreciate any kind of help (I'm a newbie so I have a lot to learn).
PS: I know that a bigger piece of equipment would probably work better and cost the same price, but my idea is to just have a mini fridge to go and get a glass of beer from time to time. And by the way, I have never used any type of barrel so my experience in this matter is zero.
Thank you all!
