Good choice. Very nice. You need to get some mud on it.
I've got an '03 TJ and I love it. Seems like a lot of brewers on here have Jeeps.

Very nice!! Congratulations on the new addition to your family.
I remember having that same new-car grin just 2 years ago when I picked up my Mustang GT. Awesome feeling, huh?

Sweet I get to be the first to say You Suck. I yearn after one of those 4 door Jeeps you lucky bastige :D

Nice choice!! Looks familiar though:

Hard and soft tops (got the soft top for free due to some good negotiating and a bad/rookie salesman)....

I'm loving it so far. Now I hope the weather warms up this weekend so I can pull the top.

Here is my baby

I wouldn't trade her for all the Wranglers in the world. Instead of the "Jeep wave" I get the slackjawed "Jeep made a pickup?" stare.

Looks so pretty and clean.

Jeeps, home brewing and firearms. Nice hobby list, reminds me of someone else.

Here is my CJ the day I bought it. It's changed a lot since then.

They weren't much to look at, but I have no idea why they didn't sell better. They were a darn fine truck!

I love my 99 Cherokee.

You're crazy, the looks were the reason I was initially drawn to it. Sure it's rusty now but I still think it is one of the best looking trucks ever made...the Gladiator might have it beat. Honestly the rust is the only flaw on these trucks. I like to think of it as "character granting" rust, but sometimes on a quiet night I swear I can hear it rusting...hell, it doesn't even have to be that quiet. But there is something beautiful about owning an offroad vehicle that you don't care about cosmetically.

Four-oh + man-tran + 4WD + 3200lb CW + 5k lb towing capacity = $800 5 years ago and me never looking back.

Well, I was talking about this:

But that diesel concept was gorgeous too, if they had actually made it I would have probably bought one.
Bonus J10 awesomeness:

If Jeep would put a diesel in a stock Wrangler, they would sell like hotcakes.

They do, just not in the US. That was the plan originally when they tested the 2.8CRD out in the Liberty. They sold out immediately but then the US diesel emissions changed the very next year and the new motor no longer passed. You can get a larger diesel in the WK but it's not exactly set up to go off road. There was also one available for a brief period in the MJ before the 4.0 came out.

You are going to love it I have always had a jeep in the stable right now we have a 98 Cherokee The one I really miss is the 65 Kaiser jeep I sold it to buy a 86 Grand Wagoneer. Had a 1975 J-20 plow vehicle that just disintegrated on me. My uncle was a AMC/Jeep dealer after Studebaker went out.

he had one of these sitting in the field at his house 58 FC-150 Willies wish I could have gotten my hands on it before his kids scraped it.

Dude that is a serious shame, the forward controls are probably the most rare Jeeps there is...and possibly the coolest.

tell me about I was so pissed that they just scraped I even called the auto yard, they crushed it the same day they got.

We did manage to save the 47 Studebaker wrecker with a Holmes hand winch on it. At least the guy I sent over is restoring it.

Just saw the picture now, since it's blocked at work. Pretty much identical twins.
