But I just finished primary fermentation on my first lager.
You see, we have this tiny storage room vented to the outside that during the winter settles in around 54 F. So in went the fermenting larger and the door was shut!
I knew about the sulfur smell. But I was really surprised by the intensity. Oh my.![Eek! :eek: :eek:](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
So I couldn't resist. I sent the wife, the kids, really anybody, down to the storage to smell the latest beer. The reactions were... well, appropriately funny.
The sulfur smell is gone now... maybe it's time to brew another.
