Odell’s Oktoberfest is freaking legit.
Since when are most of the German Oktoberfest beers on the shelf Festbiers and not Marzens?
Lowest I've seen has been $9.99What is a 4 pack of Ayinger Marzen generally going for? I probably overpaid, but I wanted dat GOAT. $13.49 for 4 fair?
I got a discount on Schramm's and vermouth at the same time, so I will call it even.Lowest I've seen has been $9.99
I suck at pulling out flavours, and distingushing featuresin beer, but local ones I have enjoyed are perhaps not something I am looking to down ‘one over the eight’ in a night.Has anyone noticed a trend in their local area (for the local examples, not the classics from Germany) of sweeter Marzen this year?
A number of the new (to me at least) examles I've had this year have finished a noticeable amount sweeter, which makes for a beer that can certainly be tasty, but I'm less inclined to drink a number of them in a sitting.
Or is that just a metro Chicagoland thing?
Have you been buying the marshmallow Oktoberfest replicale variants?Has anyone noticed a trend in their local area (for the local examples, not the classics from Germany) of sweeter Marzen this year?

Can someone with a TB stein fill that bitch and take a pic for me so I can use it for a TalkBeer FB post? Yes, I will credit you for providing the pic. Mine broke, please?
Maybe do it with some leaves, or gourds or something festive as ****.
Release some glasses and people could help.
Peckerhead.

Staghorn is tasting damn good this year, as always. Get on it.Haven't grabbed the case of New Glarus I typically drink ever year yet.
