Marmite as a yeast nutrient

Hi Guys
I'm wanting to use marmite/vegemite as a yeast nutrient , I have a 23lt batch , any idea on how auto use? And does it work using Marmite

Sorry, i was on my way out earlier. Why do you want to use Marmite/vegemite instead of yeast nutrient? It's cheap and available. Are there other things in Vegemite/marmite that might hurt yeast?.

Also, marmite is superior to vegemite IMHO

I'm pretty sure Marmite would be more expensive than using normal yeast nutrient and I don't see what benefit you would expect from using Marmite instead of yeast nutrient.

Hey, it could be like my buddy that told me the story of the hijacked marmite truck. He said everyone for miles around had marmite stacked in every shelf..

I laughed because a childhood acquaintance (grew up with this idiot) of mine was part of a crew that hijacked a truckload of tuna fish back in the day. The idiots tried to direct market it to grocery stores (no sale). They were selling cans of tuna fish out of their garages and trunks of their car. Everyone in the neighborhood had tuna fish cans stacked to the gills. I admit I bought a case or two.

Lots of salt in Marmite so not ideal for your water profile plus it's not just yeast extract.

If it's UK marmite then eat it and enjoy it, but if it's the Sanitarium made New Zealand stuff it's rank awful.

Take the Noel Coward approach butter toast and glance at the NZ Marmite on the shelf, eat the toast.
