Manual Control for Blichmann BoilCoil?

After doing some research and realizing a PID controller was a bit out of my league right now.

Is there a diagram and part list for a manual controller for the Boil Coil or one that would work?

The Still Dragon setup is by far the cheapest I've seen.

And I saw a new thread today the Auber released a new manual control that was very reasonably priced, but I haven't looked into its specs...

Yus you can , just use a 270K potentiometer.

Sure it will. The one issue - potentiometer will work only a half way. On a first half turn (starting from the minimum) you will have no output.
