malt in cider?

I know it was mentioned, but has anyone tried adding dme to cider and if so, how did it turn out?
just wondering.

I haven't but I have been curious about it. I'd like to hear about it from someone too.

I'm guessing it would work fine and leave a malty character as well as even possibly adding nutrients the yeast might like.
