Driver and irons have been clicking as the season winds down. Decided to play a couple of holes from the Tiger tees. It's tough crushing your drive and barely making it to the fairway with 300yds uphill to the pin.

Haha. Was that your choice or somebody else in your group?
I played a course in Pennsylvania today called Rich Valley. Played with my FIL, so we both played the gold tees (seniors). I had a great round, but it is just now occurring to me that one of the reasons might be the shorter yardarge. Derp.
Pic below is the old guy - 82. He's not your average old guy. I beat him by 5 strokes, but on another day he'd beat me.

I have played the grand total of one round over the last few months, it was at the Machrihanish golf club which has a great opening hole. The whole course is good though, if you like links. The less said about my score the better
opening hole view - you have to hit over the atlantic ocean if you want a decent approach

Some good scrambling on the back tees for the signature par 3's on an old Donald Ross course. This one over the estuary missing the green but a good chip and putt for par.
Probably have sent the same picture over and over again but everytime they're so different and beautiful. Beautiful fall day at sea level. Crisp air and the smell of fireplaces in the air. Temp was around 54° with a breeze from the ocean but the sun warmed ya.
And a couple of shots from the other side of the Atlantic where my balls will eventually make it to @HanglowView attachment 649970View attachment 649971View attachment 649973View attachment 649976View attachment 649977
Unfortunately not. Summer kind of ended quick and a startup I work at let's just say had some trouble.Did you hit em at the River this summer? Can’t say I remember any pics but if that weather was today it looks like we should have done a spot open today to get some play!
Hit 18 at Dunedin Golf Club this morning. Driver really woke up, pretty awesome.
Hitting greens missing birdie putts.
Last pic is the tiger tees I talked about before. It's off the side of #8 tees. Hitting over #16 and the fairway goes off to the right finishing up a steep hill 530 yards awayView attachment 651095View attachment 651096View attachment 651097
Palm trees?!!!! We had frost delays the last couple of daysBad picture with the water tower back there, but this par 3 is pretty sweet. There's a nasty hazard right in front of it, and left and right and behind. I ended up in the drop area

Damn! I work compressed shifts. Literally could make my money in 4 weeks at a public course.Dont encourage him, cant take any more. ^^ Enjoyed the review btw, thanks.
The deal round here is out again, 3 years for 300, unlimited, in. Some time restrictions but so. Only problem is late is best to play for speed. 5 hour rounds at the 1pm weekend time for sure.
Ouch! Heal up. I have a blown ACL never fixed. Doesn't bother me too much golfing. Only if I kick the bags.I do like seeing where people are playing!
Sadly no playing for me for quite a while, just snapped my patella tendon this week so golf is off the menu. At least it's almost winter time so most courses tend to be pretty wet with winter greens and tees, I'll just tell myself I'm not missing much!
