It's been a week since I bottled the Twin Blades of Fury APA. I have four 12-oz test bottles.

Next time use a resealable 12 oz plastic soda bottle for one of your "test bottles" so you'll only need to give it a squeeze to know when the conditioning is ripe...

What he said. Though you do have 4 test bottles. If you open one today the worst case scenario is it’s partially carbed and maybe a touch sweet. Chalk it up to research.

IMO, two week minimum, three if you don't want to be disappointed (though you still may be).
And 5% ABV? In that case, try one. If it was 8% at 68F I'd say to wait at least another week.

The suspense is killing us... or not... but the trend is clearly "Open 'er up!"
So I did. Great color, nice aroma, a bit light on the head but what's there is persistent. Initially malty, bready with a bit of sweetness and a middle going grainy, followed by a slight hit of bitterness to balance it out in the swallow.
I'll call it a success, and it'll get better as it sits.
