We are making a couple of changes to the beer list at the restaurant that I am at (finally!). there are a couple of beers out there that I am looking to bring in.

Baladin

Bruton Birra

Any others that anyone has any experience with?

Also I am looking to a brew a beer that would be Italian in style/nature, maybe chestnuts or something similar. If you have any experience in brewing with these types of ingredients, let me know as well. Thanks

I had a glass of Troll Palanfrina last night. Made with chestnuts, in Italy.

Odd beer. Very winey, a bit sour, nice reddish hue, poorly carbonated (it was from a keg, so maybe the barkeeps fault). Not much in the way of chestnuts. I didn't like it so much. But it got me thinking how good a brown ale or scottish 80 would be with a chestnut finish.
