So I'm about to have surgery in 2 weeks and want to make a stout that I can brew, have my neighbor transfer if need be and age till I heal. Never made one before. Looking to see if anyone has any recipes they'd like to share. Looking for an oatmeal, peanut butter chocolate flavor, little heavy on the oatmeal and chocolate. Thanks brewers!

11lbs 2 row or Marris Otter
1.5 lbs chocolate malt
1lb of roasted barley
.5lb of crystal 60
1lbs of oatmeal
1oz of fuggles @60
1oz of fuggles @15 (optional)
.5lbs maltodextrin
OG 1.072
FG 1.020
Yeast Nottingham, Thames valley or London ale
Mash 154 for 60 mins

I've made this beer several times and it is a "big chewy beer" great chocolate aroma and flavor with a nice roast in the finish. You could also sub the maltodextrin for lactose and I have used all 3 of those yeasts in the past and they are all a solid choice.

I have a great Stout recipe:

50 gr BLACKSWAEN©COFFEE
50 gr Special B Malt

50 gr Bramling Cross Flameout
.........................................................................
Yeast Wyeast 1318 London Ale III
.........................................................................

I am really happy with this stout recipe. Have some going now, and will probably be brewing again in short order.
