Looks good bud!

The cookies and milk stout is delicious! I had to buy more of it before leaving town so I could enjoy more of it. I was worried the local shop would be out of it when I returned.
Sounds like a good place to start! Still at work though...the perils of being a Paramedic! [emoji23]

Goodies arrived from @RevKev!! FANTASTIC variety and brews! I can't wait to get into them! Thanks @RevKev for such a generous grant! Cheers![emoji482]
Cookies and Milk is a good place to start, such a tasty stout, but I would almost say start with Metric from IA.. It is a lagered pils but one of the best I've had. I hope you enjoy!! I'm glad it all made it [emoji482]

Sorry they mostly are all darker beers, I took inspiration from your guidelines lol

And a big shout out to @TwistedGray came home to a lovely package of goodies... I couldn't help myself because the lovely 25° Buffalo weather had already chilled the bottles and cans to a perfect serving temp while I was in lab [emoji482][emoji482]

The cider is exactly how I like mine, crisp and refreshing with a dryer finish. Can't wait to dig in

Thank you man and now let's get this guy some beer!!!

You should dig into those sours!! Balls deep in Tay right now

BCBS?

Also, that Toucan is tits!
Bourbon County Barrel Stout, did a three year vertical and ended up drinking most it it while they guzzle down delicious sours.. I got my taste. And toucan was the most interesting beer out there loved the spiced fruit aspect!!!

Let me see where we stand on payday, Friday, and I will try to send you some Southwest Virginia brews if you like.

I am in absolutely no rush, so I'll leave to you. I grew up in WV and my brother lives on a boat near Norfolk, but I don't recall having any "Southwest VA" brews. He drinks swill, as most boat-folk do ... I think.

I was planning on granting @TwistedGray, but have to save my "mad money" to pay the shipping. If you don't mind waiting another week or so I can get some out. That is unless someone else wants to jump in here...

I didn't even read up above, rookie mistake, I just wanted to make sure something was in the works!

Yah but I have stuff for you soooooo I could Grant you right back, lolz

Ha! That's pretty funny. I couldn't argue that. Not sure if I have your address. Send it over and I will box something up for you tonight and mail it UPS tomorrow. I guess we could consider it a "side" trade.

And now your comment on FOTD makes perfect sense!

I'll grant @TwistedGray as long as he doesn't mind waiting on FOTD to unfold in case we end up sending each other stuff, anyways.

Montana

No sours.

I don't mind waiting, been a while on the LOT thread as it is. I like sours, ciders, and anything that's not hop forward ... mild bitterness is okay. Also, I would prefer no stouts/porters/similar.
