NC weather was wonky when I was there. I remember a snow storm dumped a good 10 inches of snow in Philly on a weekend I came up to visit. Driving back down on Sunday night literally took all night, from normal 7 hour trip to a 14 hour trip. Virigina was hammered with snow, NC was coated with ice and a good 4-6" of snow on top of it....except for Camp Lejuene, which had a 45 mile radius of tropical weather surrounding it. It was so bizarre.
Ok, so I'm up to ship to @mdsutton, right? If so, I will find his post as to what he would like or doesn't like and get out this weekend to pick up some local brews. I'll pick up some extra packaging material too.
Please note, I have to travel for work early next week and will be home late Wed night or early Thu morning. Assuming my flight from BWI doesn't get canceled with the next "storm" that is going to hit next week. So I probably will not be able to ship the beers until I return home.
Also, is it against the rules to include a local craft brew from another state that the receiver cannot get in their location? For example, I may bring back some local craft beers from Maryland that doesn't distribute outside the MD, VA and DC area. I would include one of these brews with the other ones here in NY. @mdsutton lives in FL so he wouldn't be able to get any of these brews from NY and MD.

The way I'm interpreting it, sending small distro beers from an area other than what is "local" to you should be fine. Even though MD/VA/DC area isn't your home locale necessarily, as long as they are still small distro local brews that the recipient doesn't have access to, that should still fall under the guidelines. Just to be on the safe side, however, I'd also include some beer that is local to you, just to cover your bases.
If you're still uncertain, feel free to send me a few bottles of the beer in question and I'd be happy to give you a more educated opinion.

Yep as local as possible. I usually send from my tri state area.
I will get this unless @BeerMeDuffMan was planning to? I am out of town for work until middle of next week. Since we will be waiting a few days for shipping confirmation on this one, the timing works out well for me anyway. Can get shipped out on or before Feb. 1.

Thanks @mattv21 & @pointcity-homebrew! Yes the beer I ship will be mainly all NY local craft beers. I just thought about throwing in an extra brew from a small new craft brewery where I will be next week. I mean who doesn't want great craft beer???

Who's up? I need to ship a box next week and would love to send two at the same time.
I am shipping on Thursday when I return from my business trip. Once it has shipped I will PM @mdsutton the tracking info and what not. Then I will post here that the goods are on their way.
Now, if the east coast gets another storm (or just too much snow for BWI to handle) on Wednesday and delays/cancels my flight home, then I may not be able to ship until Friday.
You killed it! Just has Last Snow the other night and wished I had another. Can't wait to try these. Last Snow leaked a bit though. It'll be fine.

@PatrickGoss I apologize for the delay, but I was waiting on something to arrive which was a little late. I will get you out this week.
IPAs and Pale Ales are my two favorites! [emoji16] I've enjoyed wheats and lagers. But I'm up for anything that's not listed below in my dislikes. Never tried a sour beer but I hear a lot about them on the forum.
I do not like Porters, Stouts or Dubbels (tried one & don't think I'll ever want to try another).

Last snow is fantastic. had it the other night at a bar on draught. mmmmm. havent had white oak jai lai. my wife likes jai lai, and a buddy has a contact that holds him some cans of white oak when its released locally. hes going to get me a few next time. ill need to hold on to one... see if i cant get me a pliney, gumball, zombie, or heady topper
Hop Gun is from Funky Buddha same as Last snow. A good beer.
I have never seen the White Oak. But I do not live near Cigar City.

You've been here 5+ years, I assume you meet the requirements, can't see your post count on mobile. Helly is up for a grant, pm him with your intention to grant. I didn't see him post a list of wants but we can assume he likes beers.
I just connected with pshankstar. I will ship out next Monday. I'm in Michigan and I do in fact like beer. IPA's, stouts, and porters are my favorites. Cheers.
