Hey everyone!
I'm using liquid yeast for the first time. It's a WL001 California Ale Yeast. It was out of the fridge for about 3 hours, and then I shook it to resuspend the yeast. I just finished boiling/cooling my starter, and when I opened my vial, it exploded, much like a shaken bottle of pop would. Is this typical? Is there anything I can do to avoid this for my next batch?
