liner or contractor bag to hold water?

Will the bags hold the water safely, yes as long as you take care to check for sharp edges inside the freezer. Will this system work however I'm going with no, the dynamics of the system just don't line up.

I appreciate the responses. As far as the original question it looks like I'm good. But as far as my design, I'm hearing a resounding "No". Can't hurt to give it a shot though. I have all of the components ready to rock n roll.

I'll report back with how it turns out. If it fails, I'll look into a glycol chilling system. Noob question: is glycol propylene glycol?
