This was her first brew session.
And no, she's not tethered to my brew kettle, my son has the leash.
Wonderful dogs.

She's starting to get the hang of it.
This guy is no longer with me and I wasn't yet brewing when he was around, but every time I ever opened a beer he was at my feet waiting for a taste. He was adopted, and it was just. One of the things he did. I didn't teach or encourage him to drink beer, but he clearly regarded it as a treat - lived a long life before developing heart cancer. Still miss him.
This thread popped to the top today, and I just had to respond on this. We had a nearly identical Cocker for 12 yrs till heart disease took him too. He never really cared about my brewing, but was still our buddy. I brewed his namesake Dunkelweizen, Dante's Dunkel, a couple weeks ago and served it on Big Brew Day in his honor.
He was known to wander around the fire pit sampling the glasses on the ground, and stealing an occasional snootfull of rum-n-coke. I have a pic with his nose in a glass, but can't find it right now. Here he is just before we lost him.
My brew buddy Buster, who likes to inspect any changes to equipment.
They don't contribute much to the brew day. They sure are entertaining when there awake though lol.
The Corgis always stay out and brew with me, or lay by my feet when working from home. The cats on the other hand can't be bothered. Then there's the hedgehog if it's not kibble, he doesn't care.
Hey I have a couple of those around the house... Also show winners.. along with a couple cats (these are my girlfriends babies) and my Buddy Shadow whos an appropriately names German Shepard He also recently cost me a good amount at the emergency animal hospital after getting into some hops and having a terrible blood pressure spike... scary stuff! My hops get bagged instantly after brewing and go right to the recycling bin now.Yes! I love mouse limousines / cat snakes. I have 4 myself, this is the only one allowed to bubble around in the kitchen because he can't get into any trouble, although I don't let him in on brewday as sugar is particularly dangerous to them, however when drinking a beer he will immediately climb onto you to take a sniff.

(He's a dunce because he's the only one of the four who didn't win any awards at a local show)
