You finally bit the bullet and started it! Good luck
Yeah, I've been thinking about this recipe for a few years. How's yours tasting? You finally bit the bullet and started it! Good luck
It's been a few days since I've tasted it, but after transferring it to the keg I took a sample and it was great. Very prominent lime flavor, but not overpowering and tasted really clean. Still needed a bit more conditioning and carbonation at that time thoughYeah, I've been thinking about this recipe for a few years. How's yours tasting?
Looks really good, glad it turned out so well for you.Turned out pretty great so far. Great lime flavor. Would be easy to drink to many of these
what yeast did you end up using?
When I used WB06 apparent attenuation was upper 80%s near 90%, finishing around 1.006.
When I used Voss Kveik in various recipes, only example I have near same mash temp of 158F was 155/6 and apparent attenuation was only upper 70%s finishing around 1.010.
I kegged this earlier today after 20 days in the fermenter. Since I can't get WLP380 locally I pitched 2 pks of WB-06 dry yeast at 65°F and after about a week or so I raised it up to 67°F until today when I kegged it. Ended up finishing at 1.006 for an apparent attenuation of 88%. Strong lime flavor with no perceptible banana, thankfully. I'm anxious to taste this once it's cold and fully carbonated.Looks really good, glad it turned out so well for you.
Mine started with an OG of 1.052 and is now down in the 1.020's, per my Pill, and that's just since yesterday morning. It's still going strong, whole room smells of citrus. I expect it to start slowing down a bit tomorrow, and if so I'll probably add the Limeade.
