OK, this recipe is going to piss a lot of people off, but I just really couldn't give a **** 'cuz I just bought a six pack of this swill and poured 5 and a half beers out on my driveway.
here's the recipe. I guarantee it's a perfect clone.
We start with a six-pack of Newcastle Brown Ale. Not an exceptional beer, but still a solid and respectable example of the style by most accounts. Pretty good stuff really. Hell, I like it. Shame we're about to **** it all up.....
Pour the six bottles into suitably sized container, then add half a cup of Clorox Bleach. This will both lighten the color and add important flavoring components to the brew...
After two weeks, once the color approaches that of urine, shoot an entire household sized can of Lemon Pledge (for flavoring) into the brew. It doesn't really matter what sized can you have, just get the next bigger one. We're desperate at this point and we really need some Lemon flavor. Get two cans!!!!!
OK, OK... So your local grocery store is out of Lemon Pledge and they just can't get you any more. (Did you really try?) OK, fine.... Let it settle for a few days, bottle it up, and you now have a spot on clone of Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat.
Enjoy.
