If you use an exchange tank you have to remember to remove it or lose it. Some regs have built in o rings on them and that works great.

Try this... It's the reverse of what you posted. This is the replacement stem with the "Leak Stopper" attached, that way when you exchange tanks you don't have to remember to remove your little device. This company sells both Right and Left hand threaded stems so make sure you know which one you have.

My o-rings are on the regulators. Are co2 bottles different? I have never seen a gasket on the tank part itself.
