Harrah's & the Edgewater have OK hotels, the Flamingo is nice, the Ramada is nice too, I think most, if not all hotels there have decent pool areas. There are some newer hotel/casinos built since I was there last & let's face it: newer hotels are usually better hotels. Places to avoid are Don Laughlin's chicken & fish buffet, unless you like greasy, cardboard tasting crap. Avoid eating anything at the Mississippi Lounge in the Colorado Belle, last time I did I got food poisoning from either the shrimp cocktail or the steamed clams. Now that being said, they do have a good seafood buffet at the Colorado belle; at least they used to.

You might like to go across the river to Bullhead City, AZ. There used to be a fun bar at the Sunshine Marina, but it's been years since I was there. There used to be a good restaurant north of Bullhead City, at a marina on the lake, but I can't remember the name. Well, That's about all I can remember, hope you have a good time. Regards, GF.

EDIT: I won $80 on slots at Don Laughlin's casino & $40 at the Edgewater. Regards, GF.
