Ya but for ~$150 more you can fly on a non-budget airline like Virgin Atlantic and not get nickeld and dimed for basic amenities like food and checked bags. SF to London (RT) on Virgin was about $550 and would have been closer to $450 had I booked earlier. British Airways isn’t that much more expensive and the service is great.

Yeah, partner and I are flying from London to San Francisco at the end of May on British and got tickets for 350€ round trip.

Ryan air is definitely cheap, but it is a piece of **** all around. They charge you for everything they can think of. It’s not comparable to anything in the US, the worst seats and service ever. If you’re running around Europe and staying in hostels and counting every penny, do it.
Otherwise take something like Eurowings which is just a bit more and like Southwest. Flight in July on Eurowings from Cologne to Edinburgh is 70€, and that’s cause I just booked it, colleague got the same ticket for 45€.

Are you familiar with Frontier? Its like RyanAir Classic
Haven't been on frontier, only Southwest and Jetblue, both of which were absolutely fine. Ryan air is flaming piece of ****, with the most uncomfortable and rigid plastic seats ever, and you'll inundated with announcements to buy **** throughout the flight, usually by people who are miserable bc they are working for such a piece of **** company.

RyanAir takes the cake but Frontier and Spirit are starting to give it a run for its money.

It wasn't always that way with Frontier. They were my favorite airline 10 years ago. They also couldn't turn a profit, and got sold to the company that owned Spirit. It was all down hill from there. Southwest is the only choice now, particularly if you have kids, and despite this week's event.

Anyone experienced trouble getting in contact with BIAB? I've emailed Kurt, Kenny, and used their website contact feature about a pending order I'd like shipped... getting slightly miffed, butthurt even

Yes, multiple times via email and their web contact feature in the past week for fixing some logistics issues as well as retrieving my tracking numbers. Strange that you’re getting radio silence. Are you being nice? If not, I suggest being nice. ;)

Kenny S. no longer works for BiaB. And yeah, sometimes their service leaves a bit to be desired.

At least the beer's good. I've had only successful orders before and should probably have just had it shipped when I ordered it. Didn't want geuze slushies

Yes. Literally every time I've dropped bottles off with Kurt, it's been radio silence for months. For someone whose business revolves around logistics, he is frighteningly disorganized. If you drop bottles off with him, I highly recommend having proof of inventory yourself. It's now to the point where I no longer feel comfortable dropping off bottles and paying for BiaB to pack & ship them to the US.

I will say that regular orders from their online store have been much smoother.
