Don't think 75 Girardins are that cheap anymore at the brewery, more like 4-5 euro and the smallest Boon bottles are 0,95 cnts at the local. The owner (used to blend gueuze) says they're better then the larger bottles.

Dang, I wonder why the price increase at Girardin. Even still they are very well priced for their quality.

Hoping to stop at Girardin if I can get back to Belgium this year and will certainly report back on current prices.

Yeah, I'm on it. Gonna update the site soon, but it's for the anniversary of the Patron Saint of Anderlect.

I feel bad for whoever's willing to pay for it, but maybe tupacmoi will just buy it and try to flip it.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
All the one-offs bring all the shitlords to the yard.

Girardin raised prices? Last time I was there (May-ish last year) it was still less than 3 euro for a 0,75...

Curious to see what makes up this Blend. If I remember correctly the 2014 batch was strictly 1yr old 3F lambic with raspberries. I’d imagine with a larger stock of 3F lambic we will see a blend similar to the latest batches of Hommage, sans cherries.

Even without the carb 2014 Boos was a good beer. That said if we saw something similar to 2011 Boos I’d be over the moon happy :D

After two 11/13 ^2 375s that didn't age so great in the last year or so, had a really fantastic one last night... yum. When it's on it's amazing.

Drank my first 11/13 a few weeks back with my brother getting ready with him for his wedding and it was damn near perfect. None lambic drinkers even loving it.

Thought the mure b1 I had was all blackberries but otherwise agree.

Have a 1/16 mure in the fridge for Sunday. I’ll report back.

Agree to batch one. It was much more blackberry forward than the following Mure releases. Curious if it had a higher concentration of blackberry in it. I recall it having an almost pine-like finish to it too which I loved.

Drank a 2011 3F Geuze and 2014 Cantillon Bio Gueuze last night. The 3F was fantastic, super funky smell, light and bright acidity, really quite good. The Cantillon was good, but less so, less funk and had that weird residual sweetness Cantillon stuff sometimes has. Could probably have used some more time.

I'm not sure if I wish I did or I'm glad I don't speak the language of that site...
Some real gems pop up once in a while but a lot of stuff is way to expensive. Bought a bottle of Eylenbosch for 6 euro on that website a while ago!
