I mean it sold out in 20 mins so many thought it was worth it. I ordered the etre ones last month, and would have gotten these had I gotten notice. It is worth a the extra money for me cause my only other choice is trade or spend all day waiting in a line when they release here.

Just throwing this out there, has customs held up any boxes coming to CO lately?

Also any place that sells Boon Moriau Geuze?

If any business' are looking to get hold of a bulk amount of Lambic baskets reach out to these guys.

'If anyone is interested in 700+ lambic baskets for retail or brewery, email me. As I stated in my last email, we're shutting down and removing them from inventory by the end of the week. Rather than tossing them in a dumpster, I wanted to offer to ship to someone that could use them.

Cost will be quoted to pick/pack/and ship them from my fulfillment company in Chicago and will vary greatly depending on where you are located. Seriously interested parties only, please.

This is (likely) the last email you'll receive from Handwerk. Thanks for doing business with us!

I heard too many good things about this one to pass it up. It has an undeniable amount of vinous character. So much so that im disappointed I didnt notice anything to this caliber when I had 50n4e (which I believe is the only other cognac barrel lambic ive had.)

Lots of leathery brett, even a faint amount of noble mint-like hop character. The only negative thing I could possibly say about it is that it is noticeably more alcohol forward than most lambic.

translation please for this dumb American? something about 30 year maturation date?
*edit, I think I get the idea. Aged in a wine barrel from Brunello that was 30 years old or something.

This creation is a tribute to the founder of Oud Beersel who founded the brewery 135 years ago in 1882. It is a unique blend of Lambic matured a year on Tuscan thunderbolts in Italy, previously used For 30 years for the maturation of the famous wine Brunello di Montalcino and with Lambic of three years matured on an old lightning of Oud Beersel. This exceptional Ancient Gueuze is touched by mature red wine on bottles of 37,5 cl and is available in limited quantities. Serve at 8-12 ° C Ingredients: water, barley malt, wheat, hops 6.5% ABV Color: amber gold Aroma: a deep explosion of vinous character with a typical odor of wild yeasts Taste: the pleasant bitterness of pink pampiemousse Combined with a taste of red wine refined in oak casks results in a sour character but well rounded Conservation: 20 years with a subtle evolution in taste Packaging: 12 x 37,5 cl BEERSEL

ISO. Seriously ISO. We honeymooned in the Montalcino region of Italy. Would really like to get a few bottles of this for an anniversary.

Edit: Does anyone know the winery that the barrels were used from?

SUPER ISO...my sister's cousin (who ironically is also my cousin) has a dog named Montalcino.

;)

The logo is actually centered but it's above the Z in geuze so it looks weird. I think it's because just the word Geuze is bold and capitalized.
