Has anyone who placed an order for Cantillon's 3 pack Cuvée set on the east coast received their box yet? or any promising updates? Bpost hasn't updated in like a week and a half.

That's good info, wonder how long it will take to hit me in MI was just wondering how hellish it will be shipping those during the holiday shopping craziness.

Allegedly tracking numbers have not been updated for at a couple of my friends, and were not even up until delivery.

i got mine on Monday. Got to NYC customs on Friday i believe and released Saturday. My bpost didn't update at all though, had to use usps

Random question (sort of), but did you guys have to sign for yours, or did they leave it on your doorstep?

I will be out of town until Monday. If it arrives safely, there is a chance I may need a neighbor to grab it for me. Don't want it sitting out in the cold (plus all the box thefts).

Sign for it - my wife wasn't home when they first tried to deliver, i rescheduled for the next day but they came back later and she was there to sign.

Excellent! I just haven't used bpost yet so I was curious. Feeling much better.

BPost typically stops updating once it Rea customs. There should be an USPS number you can track from there. I didn't do the cuvee pack but that is how all my etre orders worked.

I think I'm going to try "fat washing" it with pork fat, then making a cocktail.

Duck fat is the best cocktail fat (or really, the best fat for any consumption-related uses).

Yeah I have a fat jar that I top up regularly with any rendered fat or leftover oil; but the duck fat is pretty mixed up with leftover vegetable oil, while the pork has separated to the bottom. So it'll be easier to fish that out. Or I'll just dig a spoon and and grab a bit of everything. There is lamb in there as well, but that's solid and somewhere in the middle.

Everyone needs a fat jar.
