Pardon me for being excited. I never get in on the limited bottles, so i was psyched!

They were long gone by the time I posted, so it didn't matter if I posted the website or not. For those that want to know, it was a well known one, trappist world.

Edit: first time ever being referred to as newmoney (and got the hashtag!) I feel special
No limit on Zenne either!

what was the price?
ogv at trappistworld? For a 375 I'm guessing >$50
Yep, ~$65 for a 375. The 750s were ~$125, but sold out as I was building my cart. Honestly didn't think it was terribly overpriced.

lol @ people who use Trappistworld

I usually do not, as they are generally overpriced (~$100 for a&g). However, they often have stuff others do not (golden blend 750s, Framboos, homage, st lam etc), Not a daily driver, for sure, but once in a while, I go for it.

$125 not overpriced for a $10 beer? Oh man do I have some things to sell to you...

It obviously wasn't overpriced, as it sold out instantly (more or less). If it were overpriced, it would still be sitting there (see Zenne at $500). It was expensive, for sure, but not overpriced.

Step into my shop...

Difference between overpriced and people being stupid or desperate:)

I'd be willing to bet that if you would offer ogv in this thread at $125 for a 750 (I know it is a hypothetical, as this site doesn't allow sales), you'd have takers (probably some of the same people saying it is stupid).

I never accused everyone on this site of intelligence; that would be absurd!

No matter how you choose to rationalize buying bootleg beer from a source the brewers are trying to shut down, you're still a #shitlord.

Buying a beer on the (somewhat) grey market makes me a shitlord?

Edit: I'm not trying to rationalize anything (nor do I feel I need to). The only person I have to convince that this wasn't a bad decision is my wife, which is probably not going to go well.

Does this shitlord definition include all those that have either bought, sold, or facilitated a beer transaction for markup regardless of avenue or event? If so, this place is ripe with shitlordness and I see a lot of hypocrite likes and posts above

Disclosure: Never bought off Trapistworld but then I could still be a shitlord

No pics but I opened a bierpallieters over the weekend. Bottle number was 118 or something low like that.

My prior thesis/theory/assumption/whatever was that the amount of sediment in the bottom might be an indicator of how carbonated/awesome the bottle will be. There was a decent layer of sediment in this one and it was another amazing experience. The friend I shared it with immediately commented that it smelled just like blauw. Which made me laugh because thats the same thing Dunt and the DC lambic nerds said when I opened a bottle with them. I never had blauw so I cant comment in that regard but this bottle was a little less tropical and more assertive with herbal/mineral character.

Also drank a 375ml 10/29/15 bottling of 3F OG and **** if that stuff isnt prime. Im so jealous of all you shitheads who ordered the bulk boxes from BIAB just to get a single A&G... id be happier than a pig in **** if I had all those OG's regardless of the A&G being included.

Why you jelly bro. I could spare a few for you if you wanted.

I told you we should have ordered more!

I realize that bootleg ass shops are ****** and beer scalpers are shitlords, but I also think it's somewhat odd how we decry them considering how many beer collectors instead use friends and various industry connections to gain access to (and sometimes hoard) certain sought after beers. Whether you have a couple hundred bucks to spend online or you know a guy who knows a guy who works at a distributor or bar or liquor store and can hook you up outside of the normal distribution network...you're still circumventing whatever was intended for that beer.

Shh your logic isn't welcome here -->
