That quote is unequivocally false. Marketers going to market I guess.
Would it be true to say that they're the only brewery that does only traditional blending? Every other brewery I can think of has some beer that has sugar or a non-traditional fruit in it. It's still a stupid point, but I can see what they might be trying to go for.

Hmmmm...not sure about that. I don't think so. Girardin?

What does traditional even mean there?

Jean plays loose with the term gueuze sometimes. I'm not sure if he blends any younger lambic back into the cognac aged lambic before bottling, but that could be one reason he calls it a gueuze. He also calls St. Gilloise a gueuze. Then there's LPG which definitely doesn't have any younger lambic blended back into it.

For Cantillon if it has carbonation and no fruit it's a gueuze it seems.

'14-'15 Mûre, '14 Golden Blend, '12 Blåbær

First time having Mûre– great amount of aged funk and distinguishable tartness, the blackberries add a nice dryness at the end. GB had a nice amount of oakiness to it with dat 3F funk. Slight rubberiness to the nose, reminded me of Roze; cork shot out immediately and almost killed Totoropanda. :p And Blåbær is holding up amazing. Perfect balance of funk, with a good amount of that bilberry present and still nicely carbonated. #IT'SLIT

3 Fonteinen will open a visitorcenter in Lot (near Beersel). They will also store the produced lambic overthere. The brewing itself will still take place in the current location. He also plans to give masterclasses at the new visitorcenter + schaarbeekse cherry trees (+100) will be placed around the new place. The new center can be visited between 1- 5 September.

He was able to purchase the new place because of a big investor. That's pretty much it.

He showed me recent photos of the place from his phone...it's INSANE. The monster barrels themselves had me at full mast. Freaking Lambic Disney.

People who have *gasp* opened a&g. Young? Sometimes I find fresh OG comes out the gate string and sometimes I needs time to develop.

How it it?
