That's what I get for assuming. Cheers and may all your Tilquinny dreams come true!Actually 12% is pretty new in NJ, from what I know. And we still haven't seen Tilquin, as far as I know.

**** you East Coast...**** you...Jesus. I checked at 5 am, nothing. Drive to work, check ~1 1/2 hours later, gone. I give up, OG will suit me just fine.
I'd be surprised if he completely stopped buying other places wort but I suppose it could happen

Oh, I just figured for the same reasons Tilquin doesn't buy just one wort. Whatever those reasons are; I have no clue.

In a spitting match nobody spits like gaston!
I feel like SeaWatchman is downplaying A&G... he's all "nah it's just OG, don't worry everyone" when it comes up.
I'm on to you, buddy.
It's not that I'm downplaying it so much as I'm surprised (I know I shouldn't be) as to people not realizing what this beer is.
This one word changes everything.BUT THE NAME SAYS IT'S A COOOVEEEE!!
rullquin is awesome..would've bought more at the time but it wasn't cheap.Had my last b1 Stout Rullquin tonight, tasting really good right now. I can't imagine blending a stout and lambic is an easy task, but this was incredibly harmonious with each part of the blend complimenting each other perfectly. Liked it fresh but wasn't blown away, but it was awesome tonight.
Girardin consistently makes the best and most reliable geuze out there. Phenomenal August 2010 bottling. Cork popped off with a bang, light cereal taste with funky lemon and grass notes. Slight apricot on the nose. Not even close to slowing down.

Hookemhops13 and I drank a bottle last weekend that must have been bad. It was just off. Metallic, very little nose, not much taste, and no head/carb at all. It was not like the past bottles I've had. I hope it was just a one off.
Ya it was very off. Only had one other before but it was much better than the one we had last weekend.![]()

Sounds like it was. I can't recall ever having a bad bottle of this.
Personally, I am waiting on Gaston & Tomme CooveePaging GuzzleMcBrew with his brilliant analysis.
Armand sulkily off in the distance?Personally, I am waiting on Gaston & Tomme Coovee
Well, if you blend Armand & Gaston with Armand & Tomme, the two Armands cancel right?Personally, I am waiting on Gaston & Tomme Coovee
What's the difference between this and A&T? (Besides the typo, obv) Isn't A&T really just a great blend of regular og?It's not that I'm downplaying it so much as I'm surprised (I know I shouldn't be) as to people not realizing what this beer is.

Was A&T the first blend to have a 4 year component (ala today's GB)?I would say mostly yes but that it doesn't contain the traditional ratios of 1, 2, and 3 year old but instead 4yr old (Boon brewed, 3F aged) , 3yr old (3F brewed and aged), and young lambic.
