27/01/15 bottle date. Seemingly even more tart than the bottle I had in November, which was already pretty damn sour. This is one that I'll be drinking fresh in the future.

Are we all talking about Prunes de Namur here rather than the other version? Have to say I agree with SteveOldrati, the 2014-2015 I had recently was moving into acid bomb territory. 2015-2016 is a banging fruity little number right now though.

For less than $10 a bottle of OG, I would have purchased even without the A&G. :D

Especially now that even 3F OG is starting to dry up on Etre :(

Not even going to lie, I also bought it. I had planned on re-upping the next time the bulk packs were up but I've been drinking more 375s recently and had planned on going that route instead of 750s. Only downside being that they don't fit in my wine cooler as well.

But man, even though the exchange rate helps a lot versus like 4-5 years ago, these bulk packs have gotten so much more expensive. My first one was something like 90E+99E shipping.

Which is seriously cheap, even by Belgian standards

This is about as low as it gets nowadays

That's my local shop!

Bought 3f OG last week at another shop for 11.70 euro/bottle. They have it for 6.10

Damn I need to have a better look at prices.
How much I would love to have deConinck as my local :( It's a bit far from Eindhoven to go regularly.

Wait, Tilquin^2 is still sitting around? That is, indeed, a magical place.

If anyone knows an online seller with any Tilquin^2 available, please let me know! I'm not sure I've had a beer I liked more.

That's also what most caught my eye.

While I'm here, I should mention that this was a first time bang:

It was really, really tart. My only other De Cam to date is the Special, which I really, really like. As this one warmed up, I started enjoying it more, and I was thinking how similar it was to Cantillon RdG; I wish I had done a side-by-side to actually compare the two. So it was quite good (I really like RdG), but the tartness was too much for me - I had to split the bottle over the course of 2 nights. This beer would be great in a 375 or at a bottle share, but 750 was too much for me to do on my own in one night.

FWIW, at of 03/31/2016 Pierre requested all online sellers stop selling any Tilquin products.
