Drinking a 2014 De Troch Oude Gueuze and don't really care for it. Lacking complexity, has a sharp acidity and nothing else. Any opinions on this?

Popped a 2014 Intense Red yesterday on a whim but found it disappointing - one-note cherry tartness, very little funk, fruit stomping on the subtleties of the lambic. Amazing color though. If I manage to get hold of one of the new batch, it's getting cellared for a good few years.

2 months ago I opened a 2012 of Intense and it was awesome. Super juicy cherry, funky and subtle tart. I have a bottle of the new batch waiting to get popped, I'll let you know how it was.

Tilquin just announced they bottled 4 blends of geuze, 2 Mûre and 1 new fruit blend. Awesome!

Pitchers and baskets on cantillon's site.
My stoneware order arrived and im super excited to have these in time to be able to give them as Christmas presents.

Some nifty craftsmenship with very unique imperfections that add quite a bit of character (not tome chope level imperfections.) I dont know what I was expecting but the .5 liter ones are tiny compared to what I was expecting. I really dont think its functional in the way I was imagining it being but it looks neat.

Did you get any shipping updates from Cantillon? Mine still shows as processing and I was hoping to get them before next week.

Julie gave me a tracking number.
Later said it wasnt accurate because it didnt ship when she wanted to get it out by.
Then days passed and she said nevermind that one was correct.

That tracking number still shows up as not in system.

Flawless execution.

I'm pretty sure the only way the pitchers are functional at all is if you have a cask (or bag) of lambic. They aren't carbed beer friendly.

Got some in the mail today and couldn't wait. I love Mamouche so I was excited to see this coming out. Great pour, nice, lasting carbonation. Nose is immediately recognizable to anyone who's s fan of elderflower in lambics though not completely in your face. Taste is on point. Lindemans lambic in general to me is really consistent, fairly light, and quite citric - all characteristics that help accent elderflower. So Blossomgueuze succeeds where Mamouche can often fail: the elderflower isn't the only thing going on and it doesn't present that overpowering pickle/pepper/vegetal note that seems to turn a lot of people of. It's very obviously there, but it doesn't completely dominate. In terms of intensity, I'd say it's certainly not as powerful as Mamouche, but the characteristics of the lambic serve to enhance all of the flavored. My only complaint is that it's a bit yeasty/bready, but that may settle out. All in all this is a more than sufficient substitute while Mamouche is on hiatus.
