Hahahahahahaha those prices though (even at the brewery). NOPE.
19 euro for Hommage and 18 euro for a 750 of GB is unreasonable? What's a more realistic price? 18 euro doesn't sound insane to me for a 75cl bottle which contains 4 yr lambic. I guess I'm judging that off American pricing though, and not their local.

What is a regular 3F OG? like 6 Euros? At 3x that I can understand saying GB is expensive even with 4 yr lambic.

I don't know if that's a fair comparison based on the 25% base of 4 year old lambic. How much of the lambic is lost during those 4 years? I'm really curious.

Better yet, why the **** am I even thinking about this? I would and did pay those prices, and will happily markintihar the **** out of those 750's.

Is there much more at the brewery? I'm driving up that way the weekend after next on my way home for Christmas and would happily stop in. (Actually, I'd stop in anyway to load up on OG, but it makes it easier to justify if there's 75s of GB).

The one I opened was probably the best fruited lambic I've ever had. So much fruit and funk.

I hate that some of the bottles were so bad.

I hear a lot of the ones that were sold in the U.S. were bad. I wonder if the temperatures were bad when being imported or something? IIRC, they were sent around May

Bum bum bummmmmmmmm

This just in, it has nothing to do with storage/shipping conditions and everything to do with the rest of the world hating us and knowing we are gullible.

Stay tuned in for next weeks episode when we learn that the Hommage sent to the US this time around retails for 3 digits and is actually just mislabeled 3F Kriek.

I had 2013 twice, both US imports, and both bottles were fantastic. I still have my bottle that I acquired locally. Anyone find a nice sweet spot for 2007?
