But Zenne? Maybe it's just my circle of Euros but there's a reluctance to trade it, and definitely not for a single bottle of a BA stout, wooden box or otherwise. Bit I agree, I'm not surprised to see the ISO:FT

Zenne is indeed different, maybe because it was 1pp. Of course some people got multiples but there's still a lot of honest people in Belgium (like me) who only buy what they are allowed. If I had more than 1 I wouldn't think twice about trading it or giving it away but as it stands I have only 1 and it's not going anywhere.

Other lambic I'd gladly trade for American stouts.

Which stouts in particular? :D

You did get me a Zenne, right?

My once a year opening of this 11/27/13 bottling. Still doing great, not as highly carbonated as I remember it being from last year (i.e. It didn't gush out). Killer head retention though. Nose is really grassy with mineral notes and not s ton of funk. Taste is biting upfront with its acidity but as it opens up it settles into a classic Drie blend with grassy notes, subtle maltiness, and a slight citrus note. No real sulphuric notes to speak of. Really great all around. I've almost got enough of this date to open one a year until I'm 60. If you have one, please let me know! I am still looking for more!

Any particular reason you pick this bottling? Birthday or just a great vintage? Or do you just have several of each bottling date any bust them out each year?

Birthday and just generally good IMO. 11/28 is just as good too.

It's what will be labelled as OGV 2013.

Or his bday bottling ;)

Cornering dat market tho.

In my possession....

Interested in Degarde? :p

Trade with him. I did for some of that bottling and am very happy I did. If I had more I'd do it again.

Sup baby gurl

SeaWatchman, yall get pappy up there? ;)

Damn it.

that's the spirit

God damn it.

:(

Have a couple as well but it's my wedding anniversary so was hoping to find a few more.

No I don't have pappy :(

The guy's original offer was Rare for Z&F 1:1 which was lightly ridiculed. 3,000 1pp vs whatever Rare's distribution is (a whole lot more).

I sent mine to a regular trade buddy with nothing agreed. If I was trading it for real it certainly wouldn't be for shelf whales.

All of this makes me so glad I have almost* no interest in playing the online lambic ordering game.

*I priced out a box the other day that I'll probably order at some point because I want some glassware.

I thought that way for a while and then just did two orders in a span of like a month. it's a terrible road to go down.
