Since I've got the picture now... it was another amazing packing job by BIAB. Every time I've ordered from them I've been amazed the box made it. Invoice and contents list were opened. Obviously taped up by courier service.

You do realize it's one guy. He is very very busy, especially since the volume packs went up. I found it much easier to just call him. Kurt will answer the phone.

I was having trouble getting a hold of him via email to ship some orders i had held. After 2 weeks of no replies i picked up the phone and reach him in 2 rings. He shipped it the next day and added a Lambiekstomper glass for the trouble

Would and will bang again.

Cool thread here. I've used several sites from overseas, and it seems BIAB packages really well, but the inventory and price leave a little to be desired. I've been talking closely with one of the smaller sites about how to package my beer and they have been shipping how I want. Better price, better stock. It seems getting to know the store owner via email has been the way to go for me. Just my 2c.

Online sites with tough releases can easily oversell. If that was the case they should have refunded you that day. I'd say if they didn't refund, it may just be taking them a while to process the order. I used to be an art trader and overselling happened all the time, even with pieces upwards of $500 or more.

i have heard some interesting stories about his email response times... but thankfully i have never experienced it myself. good luck man.

If you check Bpost there are often two numbers on the site that look like tracking numbers, one of which is listed as a reference number. Check the reference number on USPS and sometimes that is the one that's tracking.

Also, google any tracking or similar numbers you have. When I do, there is always a result on google that says "track this with usps"

I'd be interested in seeing how this is tasting right now, but would rather keep mine and just age them then trying to go for a vert....unless that batch is just particularly good (which I can't recall, given I tried it in the early stages of my love for sours.)

Have no idea, it is just bottled on my birthday so would love to get some. As far as I can tell the only things bottled on my birthday are that and 2005 3F Schaerbeekse Kriek and I think I know which of those is easier to obtain....

I think all Bpost international boxes have tracking, but I've often had to wait 3-4 days for my shipment to show up in the system. How long have you waited?

This particular box has been located, attempted delivery today so i'll grab it from the PO tomorrow thanks man!

I can't remember exactly, but I think my shop got lpf in December.

To be fair, none were direct hits on the exact day/year.
I was generically eyeballing anything that falls in June of 2011 or December of 2013.

know dem feels, mine are march 2011 and may 2013. I went w utopias. 2 bottles for each yr. one sealed till 21, the other I sip an ounce from in the birthday each yr.
