I think late 90's early 00's, but someone like callmemickey or SeaWatchman might know for sure.

It was gradual, but most people say 2001/2002 was when it was more or less official

On the topic of Jean Pierre this is his first year taking over.

This picture is from a year ago when I got it. Judging by the floaty stuff and low bottle fill I assume it's no good.

Picture from tonight , it seems as if it's forming a pellicle, weird? So there must be an air leak when I received or short after. So I decided to turn the bottle on its side.

This dripped out, very slowly and took a while to get this small sample. The smell was not off putting at all, it had a nice old cidery smell (I've had recently an '84, '88 & '98 lambics lately and they had similar profiles. Taste wasn't very pronounced and could barely make anything out, though again not off putting.

Is it possible that this bottle has had a leak and is now protecting its self further from oxidation.

Also where does one get those small sample bottles? Would seem like a good venture for small tasters as I doubt oxygen will have that much more effect on it.

when they are released? BiaB just said they had the 2014 grand cru. the rest are sitting in bottles and are NOT for sale at the brewery yet.

there was walls of bottles at cantillon with 2013 dates so i assumed they are all bottled at least.

I think it won't be around for another month or so. I'm not 100% on this, but I think it's about 4 months from bottling to release, putting the earliest in about May. Those Belgian flag gueuzes that were announced a couple months ago were bottled in October, so that's where I'm getting ~4 months.

Given that both 3F and Cantillon bottle batches throughout the year, the batches are released when ready. Typically they are released at least three or four months after bottling.
