I think most on here would be on the 3F newsletter . . .

Which kind of makes it pointless to post it then, right? The whole reason it comes via a newsletter (and why he's so happy it does) is to presumably limit the number of people who get the link initially vs. a giant shitshow on FB causing things to sell out immediately or crash the site. So take that x100s of other people doing the same thing because hey why not help out a small group of friends and you get the same results.

I hear you, but then again, it’s just beer. Can’t control others. I had a non-lambic, but beer enthusiast, friend text me the link 20 mins ago and I admit I was a little annoyed, and asked how he got it.

...Why would a newsletter have any more or less people than Facebook? They've even been specifically pushing the newsletter, telling people the link would go out this way. Also, it's on Eventbrite, I think they can handle the load either way.

This is a bizarre thing to complain about, even by your standards.

Got a pjassel with confirmation of order/payment and a confirmation of backorder right after. Fun morning! Ugh
They added a bunch more bottles back at some point, I got a Pjassel when the stock jumped from -46 to 40, so it might be fine? I haven't received any backorder e-mail after buying it.

I suppose I’ll just have to wait and see. The ‘my order’ page on my account still says “on backorder (paid)”. I got in before the re-ups so maybe the order went through and will be honored. Or I’ll get refunded, no biggie. Congrats on your score. Between this and the summer pack I’m tapped out for a while lol.

Well based on your post on DDT I think you paid ahead of me, so if I get a bottle you certainly will.

Etre just posted that there was a glitch and they oversold 2 of them, Pjassel included. So, you and I may get refunded unfortuantely :(

I think that restock is what is causing the big issue. I don't think more bottles were available. From their FB it sounds like it should not have jumped from -X into the positives; and therefore any of those ordered bottles after the jump were buying bottles that were not actually available, but no backorder email was sent because the system said they were in stock. They might end up cancelled manually. That is how I interpret it, but I hope I'm wrong because I only got one after the jump.

This place is dead. 15 days since the last post- what gives?

Pic to keep things relevant to the thread. 02

No pic but opened a 2017 Cantillon 50n4e Armagnac last night for my birthday that was absolutely stellar. Great funk and a pretty great amount of barrel evident.

Yea that **** bangs. I have one I want to age for a long time, but I also really want to drink another now with how great it is presently. How to get another...
