Am I the only one that thinks black label is a bit too dry? I mean, I personally prefer Cuvée René at that price point, but do know that black label gets tons and tons of love.
I thought that was the point. It was basically a younger variation of the Mikkeller Bone Dry collab right?

And these were 750mL prices?

Yes. Kriek 375 is still visible on the website, those are 8.88.
Also Etre already has quite high prices compared to physical shops, mostly because they offer free shipping and packaging for a bunch of European countries I guess.

Nah. Their prices used to be very respectable. But as demand has grown the Cantillon prices seem to creep up 1€ or so each time they go up for sale. Etre used to be well cheaper than BiaB but nowadays it's a lot closer to inline with each other. When I started ordering from them in 2012 Cantillon seasonals were like 12-15€ and 750 gueuze/kriek/rose were like 7€/8€/10€.

They're still respecteable, but for beers that you can easily compare with physical shops they're higher, though you get extra service. Cantillon has gone way up at many places, some Dutch shops now even ask 20 for the gueuze.... Though let's not forget Cantillon also significantly raised their prices over the last years.

Fixed.

It's effectively the same beer. The Bone Dry Selection was Mikkel's blend, Black Label was a blend using the same foudres. The price difference being that one doesn't say "Mikkeller" on the label.

Jabs aside, I think the working relationship between Boon and Mikkeller has had a positive effect on what Boon has been putting out in recent years.
