It’s only about $535, nbd for the lambic ballers.

Not that I have $535 to drop on this right now, but by my math the price for the pack is the same or even a few euros less than if you add up Etre prices for everything in it. In the past for the Cantillon packs at least there's been a clear markup relative to Etre.

But isn’t that exactly the point? BiaB is no longer catering to the average person by making people buy in bulk rather than selling things individually. I can tell you I would have never got into lambic if I had to drop $535 to get bottles shipped to me. I like the fact that I can pick and choose smaller sets and not feel forced to buy unwanted bottles in order to get other ones I want. I’m aware that 3F did this but for what felt like a much smaller markup and considerably less damage to the wallet.

It’s also amazing that they still haven’t shipped out some of the Cantillon sets people have ordered from the fall.

This 2015 was a stone cold ******* banger tonight. Of all the 2015s I had every one was good. This one was superb and made me wish I hadn't already drank the other 11 I once had. Amazing aroma, perfect acidity, and the fruit was melded well. Just the right amount there to not overpower the base lambic. Drink em.

Edit, disregard the cork. Stray from my wife's wine.

Not sure yet, may pop the Armagnac 50n or a St Lam cause St. Lam is the best seasonal loon- changemymind.meme

I may slightly favor LPF in this case (I don't really consider LPK to be seasonal due to it's rarity), but St. Lam is always a good one to drink. I'm still trying to figure out what is going on with the 2018 St. Lam release. I need lots of bottles of that beer.

Seriously, can't have too much of it IMO

Do you love mamouche fresh? I have only had it a once or twice and was amazed by how great it was at like 5 years. It's also become somewhat of a rarity that I'm not even sure it counts as a seasonal these days.

I love Mamouche at pretty much any age. I have it going all the way back except for the 2010 :(

The other problem is you can't split the box with a friend because some bottles are singles. At least with their volume packs you can divvy it up.

Each batch is certainly different as are aging conditions, however I had some 2013 Hommage on Sat and it was def past its prime. Had some bandaid going on. Was happy to get to try it as I'd only had relatively fresh Hommage in the past, but yeah this was not good. YMMV of course.

2013 hommage was rather notorious for having bandaid to it. The Shelton import bottles were even worse than the European bottles.

wont be sold at the brewery this year...What makes it even more annoying is the fact that I've seen Instagram shitlords in the states post haul pics with 9 bottles of the 2018 batch and I live 10 miles from the brewery and can't even get a single one

That first release in new bottles isn't great right now either. Very hard, some bandaid, not much fruit.

You think there's not much fruit? I found it be almost too fruity. Also pretty acidic. Granted I've only had a single bottle (16-17 season, blend 36), but I plan to wait to open any others.
