Could certainly cross post this in the shittiest deal thread, but found the stickers to be interesting.

Don't believe I've seen a '13 sticker LPF in the wild. Not to mention the '13 LPK.

You should buy the lot and share with your CO friends (or me depending on which category I fall into)

2005 next to 2010. 2005 had a shitload of funk (barnyard reference) with a nice apple-like nose, slight carb. It had a bit of cardboard smell that went away as it opened. Getting a ton of citrus/apricot in the 2010, nice funk, incredibly bright. So nice to try two vintages at once. Thanks for bringing the 2005 caseyk

Anybody saw 2009 HORALs Mega Blend FT recently? Don't recall seeing some trading lately. Kinda wondering what it trades for.

I'm actively looking for one before it goes out of control, rarity-wise (I know it's already).

^^ Sad to hear that. It was my favorite vintage fresh out of the "fou" bottles that I've had over the years.

Anyone know of a good wine rack for 375ml bottles? I have the 120 capacity Vinland for the 750's, but it'd be nice to have a high capacity rack for the smaller bottles as well.

I have struggled to find one that's affordable. The food budget brands for 750ml racks don't seem to make one for 375s. I did find one for 187ml splits tho if anyone needs one of those...lol.

Agreed...my preference was exactly newest to oldest.
Are any of the newer vintages worth the cost of entry? Shop near my MIL's house has the the 15' & 13' for $35 and the 11' for $45. I figured I could cuvee my own Mini Blend with 3-4 350mL bottles from the participating breweries for a higher volume at roughly the same price if it wasn't worth it.

No I thought it was getting better, and I'm usually one of those guys who insists on drinking fruited lambic fresh.

Anyway after some drunken digging around in the basement I found another one to try in another year.

I have said this before, but you are not missing anything by passing on 2009. It was by far the worst of the vertical I hosted last year.
agreed - there's massive bottle variation but the last three I drank were consistently very sulfurous and oxidized tasting. I did have an 09 at delirium in Brussels last October and it was really really good but I chalk that up to perfect storage.

To me, the '15 and '13 are worth the try if you've never had them, but not the others, based on 2 sets in the last 18 months. Just one man's opinion.

had a 14 fou last weekend that was just wayyyy too acidic for my tastes. I feel similarly about most vintages of vig though and I know everyone loves it so YMMV.
I actually had a 15 vig the other day that wasn't that acidic. Definitely the softest one Ive had. I've opened a few that were way acidic though as well. Dont lose hope!

Yeah fully expected to feel that way about it. It was super tart but still a surprising amount of fruit punching through. This was at a tasting with about 45 beers so lots of half empty bottles around. This one got finished pretty quickly though.

Delicious, but beware of the cork!!!
Shot out the second I undid the cage.

Does anyone have any experience with highly carbed beers like this? Does the carb normally settle down? How long? Do 375's or 750's make a difference? Just wondering what to expect, I've beers with lots of carb but never held on to them for too long. I'd like to age a few of these.
