I had a 2013-2014 bottle tonight and it was probably the best bottle of quetsche I've had. Very little carb, but the taste was just perfectly tart. I'm normally in the gueuze>fruit camp, but this one really made me reconsider. Pretty bummed that it's going to be harder to get Tilquin online, particularly with Mure and Squared coming out again.

Quick question - I've got a few bottles of De Cam Oude Lambiek sitting around. I know one of them is an '03, while the other 2 are '12 bottles. With that said, all 3 bottles have MMIII in the lower right-hand corner of the front label. I'd imagine this means 2003, but I'm absolutely positive I don't have 3x '03 bottles. Any other way to identify these? Don't know if it matters, but I bought all of these in the US. The '03 maybe about 6 or so years ago, the '12s much more recently. The only difference I can tell between the bottles is some of them seems to have a clear plastic-esque label over the original label.

these are sitting on the shelf around me. PM if you want more.

Has the new batch of Tilquin Squared been released? This batch was lazy not overcarbed before rebarreling, correct? Wondering what sort of difference that will make.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm also not aware of it being lazy or not overcarbed. When we were there in June I'm pretty sure Pierre said it was happening because the bottles were overcarbed again.

Next week 3F will launch 'Cuvée Armand & Gaston', which will be an 100% 3F blend. The old lambic used was one of the first brews on the new installation. According to them, it has the character Armand and Gaston always had in mind. Will be available in 375 and 750! Excited!

x-posted for carb. this is really nice. tart tropical fruit, subtle oak, and a little bit of a mineral finish. digging it.

Lucky... mine are always still. Tasty but completely flat except for an '09 I was lucky to taste a while back. What was the vintage on that one?
