Digita7693 provided us with some killer shots of the new Brabantiae barrels being filled.

Amazing

Yea haven't seen it either. If you want someone to drink that spont with let me know. I'll bring something too.

Found some today at Total Wine - Perimeter. Not sure if it's been posted on Twitter or not by other shops, as I haven't logged in in days... but if they got some, I'd imagine others did as well.

I finally got around to drinking my personal white wael on Monday after closing on our first home

. It lived up to its expectations with beautiful fruit, funk and one of the best mouthfeels I have had in a Lambic. Incredible that it was sitting right at 14 years old. I am glad I got to try it, it was worth the hunt.

When my group popped it malvasia rosso was the most distinctive lambic of the night and definitely held up for its age at about 10 or 11 years at the time. Super bubbly as I recall

Damn. I've had Malvasia Rosso once, at Sour & Bitter 2012. One of my favourite sours, ever. Would love to get my hands on another bottle. Cheers to you guys!

What year? 2008?

I typically think Mort Subite is decent but a notch below 3F/Oud Beersel/Cantillon/Tilquin. Although I haven't seen a Mort Subite bottle for sale in Chicago for years.
best by 2013 so i guess?

Hey all - quick question about Cuvee Rene bottle dates. After googling and lambic.info-ing I still can't figure out what this code means as it seems to have an extra letter:

LBK07NGC

and another:

LBL03NGC

any insight? I was only expecting a single letter after the initial "L"...

I added this info to lambic.info a little while back. The extra character is the bottling line after the expansion. The breakdown is here:
