'it is limited to one per customer. Please respect the limit in the future so a maximum number of customers can taste and enjoy this beer. Best regards, Jona'
So does that mean you can't buy cantillon when it's limited if you already got some prior? I think mure came and went pretty quickly so that second order had to have been a restock item.

I noticed the 2013 3F 750's are back in stock. Hopefully it's more of the 11.27.13 blend. I recently popped a bottle at Jester King's Friendsgiving, and some thought it was Golden Blend without seeing the bottle. Damn tasty vintage.

This is correct.

So for Etre, you pop something in your cart, reserve it, pay for whatever you popped in your cart, and they ship when you tell them to?

You pay for it, they will email you when you have a full box or at the end of their quarters telling you to wrap it up (september 20th is the end of their next quarter). I've got some looniez, a mure, that 99 belle vue, some other **** I believe.

I just observed that a beer called Oceanside Ale Works Daliesque is the top rated unblended lambic on Ratebeer (not including retired beers). Lolwut.
Honestly, I had that beer a couple weeks ago and thought it was amazing.

It still shouldn't be labeled lambic but it's a very good awa.
Some guy ASUBeer sent me a bottle of this recently.
While interesting and tasty, it is a far cry from lambic, as stated above. That same night blckout20 and I also consumed a bottle of OEC Spontalis "lambic", which reminded me of a really grainy, giant berliner.

Had a bottle of St. Gilloise last night that was bottled 9 March 2015 (Euro bottle). The beer was nearly still, a bit syrupy, and sweet (along with some familiar Cantillon funk/tartness). It was bad, but it certainly was the beer I remember. Anyone else run into this, either with this batch or other batches?
We had a similar experience a couple of weeks back. I thought it was enjoyable in a weird way though- with a little more residual malt and the hop character present, reminded me of a gueuzey DIPA. Carbonation on this bottle wasn't all that light, though.

Do people look at Etre every day to see what's available, or do you have a bunch of notifications set?

I'm not dedicated enough to check every day I don't think.

I just look every night or every other night... unless some info is posted here. IDK how to set notifications or anything.

Had a 2014 cork CSG Sunday and it was exactly how I remember it. Plenty of carb, a little hops, nice funk, etc..

Must be a bit more bottle variation this year.

I use some of my "tricks" from the old art-dealing days (online releases etc). Can't believe the beer community hasn't figured them out yet. It is pretty basic stuff.

I used to wake up, go take a dump, and check on my phone every morning before work. Too lazy on weekends, and now I'm just too lazy to do it at all.

You crazy bastards can chase the new lambic waelz. I'll stick to my 3 Fonteinen and Girardin Oude Geuze and be just as satisfied.

I used to check places like être in the morning but don't even bother anymore with the high traffic sites. You gotta go deep down the worm hole to find the good ones these days.
You are the best. Still cant thank you enough for sharing that Bierpallieters with us. I enjoyed it so much I pursued a trade and got a bottle for the cellar to sit on for awhile.

When you told me where you got it, it was greek to me. Still dont remember where you said you got (multiples?) from. You are like a lambic buying detective...i kinda envy that.

Those I actually got from BiaB a while ago for about 30 euro ;).

My experience has been that they'll usually let you order a limit-x beer again only if it is part of a new box.
Thanks, I wasn't aware this is how it worked but good to know going forward. I figured waiting a few weeks was good enough with the building-a-box policy.

woof the lambic Etre game has changed. went back through my order history as I was researching this, first one I could find was etre order #274 from aug-2011 (im sure some folks on here have even lower order #s).....2x Lente, 4x Zomer, '04 3fog magnum, lpk 08...all on the same day, not at 5am

I used to flip prints as well. I have often thought the same thing. Hey, it works. Got any Keyes or Geddes or Horkey you want to sell me for cheap? ;)

I have and a few others have. We just don't talk about it really. And im too lazy anyway to care. You get too many false positives.

At least if we are talking about the same thing

If there was a resale market like there is for prints, they'd be gone in a flash. People are using the same types of scripts/etc, it's just that compared to actual demand, beer (and especially lambic) is dirt cheap. And there's still no functional aftermarket.

Can't wait to hear the complaints once we have a robust aftermarket and realistic pricing.
